Featuring full colour illustrations designed by Jacob Ovgren on the top and underside, this Klez Skid Row Deck from Polar is made from 7-ply maple and measures to 8.25". Graffiti-style text on the topside has been printed in between the wheelbases and reads 'Hard Times. Polar Skate Co' either side of an illustrated needle with a black outline. Covering the reverse, a larger full colour illustration depicts a selection of characters on a street corner, showcasing Ovgren's creative style which is renowned for depicting humorous and crude situations.
Inspired by the local creative scene and community, both Polar Skate Co and artist Jacob Ovgren are based in Malmö, Sweden which is where the brand was founded by Pontus Alv. Having grown a global reputation thanks to unique artwork, boxy silhouettes and a colour focused style, Spring 19 includes illustrations from Tynan Kerr, Jacob Ovgren and Emile Laurent.
