Polar Garment Dye Crewneck Sweatshirt

New for spring, this blue Garment Dye Crewneck Sweatshirt from Polar has a distinctive ‘90s inspired look and features custom embroidery by Malmö based graphic designer and illustrator Elvira Varghans. Made from heavyweight cotton and designed for casual everyday wear, the body has been cut to a regular fit and the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim which helps to retain the fit over time whilst sitting comfortably against the skin. On the left side of the chest stylised ‘Polar’ lettering has been embroidered in a matching tone of blue for a subtle effect that adds further character to the design. Helping to keep the fit in place when on the move, wider ribbed trims wrap around the edge of the body and long sleeves.

Known for her strong use of colour, playful shapes and silhouettes, Elvira Varghans is based in Malmö, Sweden and has worked with a number of local bands, to create event poster art, Trés Bien and for SS20 Polar Skate Co. In tune with Polar’s reputation for incorporating their favourite artists into each seasonal release, Varghans’ work brings a fresh character to casual t-shirts, button through shirts and sweats this season which have all been designed close to her home in Malmö where Polar are also based.
