Polar Dane Brady Poker Night Deck

Arriving as a new Dane Brady pro deck from Polar Skate Co's winter '19 collection, this 8.25" model is made from high quality 7-ply Canadian maple and features custom artwork designed by Malmš based illustrator Jacob Ovgren. Against a full colour wash that varies between each deck, the topside has full colour artwork showing a cow, yellow alien, man, green guy, zap bird and red hat character sat around a circular table playing a game of poker with a black owl above and lettering below reading 'Polar Skate Co. Artwork by Jacob Ovgren'. The design continues and covers the majority of the underside with a spaceship abducting the cow which has a rope tether around its neck and pine trees in the background. Stylised 'Dane Brady' text has been added alongside in black.

Heading up Polar's art department Jacob Ovgren provides fresh work each season for skate decks and apparel as part of 'Jacob's Corner'. Known for his playful approach to design which often includes themes of dark humour and his own twist on everyday occurrences, his attention to detail and cartoon style has attracted an international audience and brings a unique character to each of Polar's ranges.
