Being a staple of SS19, the Polar Faces Art Shirt has been cut from 100% viscose for a lightweight layer perfect for any casual scenario. It’s full-length button fastening provides styling options as well as being customisable to suit, with a boxy fit to offer a natural range of motion in the body. Although a casual look, the shirt is finished with a flat pointed collar to elevate the silhouette. The fabric has been finished in crisp black, with an allover digital print of ‘reinvented’ faces - which pays homage to founder Pontus Alv’s appreciation for modern art.
Polar was founded in 2011, in little over eight years they have made an incredible difference to the contemporary skatewear climate through ensuring quality across a versatile range of styles. Influences such as art are evident in these pieces, and others made in collaboration with the likes of Jacob Ovgren, while the ‘Default’ staples favour a more minimalistic look which draws on Alv’s childhood.
