Polar 93 Canvas Shorts

Seen here in black, these 93 Canvas Shorts from Polar are made from heavyweight cotton and have been cut to a semi baggy fit for relaxed everyday wear. Inspired by classic styles of the ‘90s, the oversized cut brings a distinctive character to the design in addition to a custom blue and orange embroidered character which has been stitched within the right front pocket. Fabric belt loops wrap around the waistband which is fastened by a customised YKK button and centrally below a YKK zippered fly detail has also been added. Two open entrance pockets sit on either side of the front and on the reverse two more large patch pockets are also available for storing essential items whilst on the move. Inspired by traditional workwear styles, a fabric belt loop has been added on the right side of the leg which adds extra character to the design in addition to a stylised yellow ‘93’ label on the edge of the waistband.

Founded in 2011, Polar Skate Co. is an independent Malmö based skate brand which was founded by skateboarder and videographer Pontus Alv. Known for their creative designs which incorporate custom artwork and detailing inspired by sources outside of skating, Polar has become one of the most established and celebrated brands within the industry and continues to make an impact within both skateboarding and fashion. For the summer ‘20 collection, work from guest artist Isaiah Kennedy has been incorporated alongside designs by Jacob Ovgren and Alv himself.
