The 100% nylon Patagonia Wavefarer Bucket Hat is the ideal accessory for poolside, both in and out of the water. The DWR (durable water repellent) finish ensures you are kept dry from light showers as well as helping the hat dry off when worn in the water, with a lightweight foam band inside that keeps it buoyant. The 360 degree brim protects both your neck and face from the sun being supported by the built in 50+ UPF sun protection ensuring comfort in the heat, furthermore breathability is contributed to by the embroidered eyelets around the head. All of this can be stuffed into an internal zip pocket making the hat completely portable.
The bucket hat is adorned in a simplistic stone blue, featuring an all over print of coloured parrots - with green bodies and orange, red and yellow heads, sitting atop of light coloured flowers. Finally it is decorated with a small woven Patagonia logo.
Staying true to Yvon Chouinard’s mission statement of environmentally friendly production; the nylon used is 92% recycled, a process which was created by Patagonia’s inhouse chemists who equally have committed themselves to PFC free chemistry for SS19.
