Spoonbills: Big Sky Blue
Arriving as part of the SS20 collection from Patagonia, this Lightweight A/C Shirt features a distinctive all over Spoonbills: Big Sky Blue print design which has been inspired by the Mississippi River Basin. Designed for wear during the warmer months, a blend of organic cotton and lightweight hemp crepe has been selected for this design which has a subtle surface texture for additional character. The front is fastened by circular coconut shell buttons which lead to the relaxed camp collar neckline and on the left side of the chest a welt pocket has been added that measures to the ideal size for carrying a passport or sunglasses. On either side of the body short side slits have been added to allow for movement and ventilation and straight cut hems give the short sleeves a clean finish.
This season California based outdoor brand Patagonia has drawn inspiration from the Mississippi River Basin to inform print and colour across a selection of new and refreshed apparel and accessory designs. As an area that is known for its rich natural fauna that currently faces high levels of chemical pollution, Patagonia hopes to raise awareness for the area through this spring/summer collection to help protect its future.
