A wind and weather-resistant design inspired by classic ‘60s expedition jackets, this all-black Isthmus Parka from Patagonia arrives as a new-season staple from the brand’s latest collection. Loyal to the brand’s sustainability-minded ethos, this Fair Trade Certified sewn jacket is made from 100% recycled nylon with a semi-recycled polyester high-pile fleece trim, 60g Thermogreen insulation and with a DWR coated finish for year-round functionality. Styled to a regular fitting with velcro-adjustable sleeves, a straight-cut hemline and a full-length storm-guard placket that flows through the immediate centre of the chest from its removable-hood accentuated neckline, this outdoor-orientated jacket is set to make light work of any impromptu excursion or thoroughly planned adventure. The innovative two-way zipper pairs well with hidden snap-closures to ensure warmth is retained regardless of setting, whilst the adjustable interior drawcord trims across the waist helps to seal in warmth as and when it’s needed. Two spacious fold-over pockets can be found above the waistline, with two additional mirrored chest pockets further up the design providing the wearer with ample on-the-go storage to suit. Signed off with the brand’s iconic P-6 embroidered logo across the left-chest which seals this go-to outerwear staple off in line with the brand’s admirable simple aesthetic.
