Paradise NYC Can’t Touch This Hoodie in Black. A new design from NYC based Paradise, this cotton polyester blend hoodie features a large screen printed graphic that makes reference to popular culture imagery and bootleg designs. Keeping you covered during the colder months, the attached hood can be adjusted in size to suit using external colour matched pullcords and at the waist a kangaroo pouch pocket is available for storing essentials such as your keys and a phone. Applied to a large scale for impact, outlined ‘Paradise’ lettering can be seen across the chest with an illustration of a reworked Simpsons character on top playing basketball quoting ‘Can’t Touch This’. Nike Air branding in blue makes a further statement and an outline version of the cartoon above can be seen in white to one side. Helping the fit to sit closely during everyday wear, the body and long sleeves are completed by wide ribbed cuffs.
Founded in 2015 when pro rider and founder Sean Pablo was just 17 years old, Paradise NYC challenges the contemporary norms of street and skatewear through comedy-driven artwork and designs presented across casual t-shirt, hoodie and sweatshirt silhouettes. Using his travels around the world with skateboarding for constant influence, for the new season Pablo has included amusing references to bootleg culture and design with homages to The Simpsons, Michael Jackson and Prince incorporated.
