This 8.375" edition of the Palace Chewy Pro S18 Deck is made from 7-ply Canadian maple and features full top and underside artwork. Set behind a 3D style curved arrow with a thick shadow, an image of a glacier and textural purple tone image can be seen on the topside, and the Palace infinite triangle logo has been etched in between the top wheelbase for signature branding that reveals the maple below. The design varies on the underside and shows an image of smashed glass in the background with an overlaid photo of rocks in the centre and a breaking silver chain in the foreground. Additionally, a big zig-zag yellow triangle adds an extra element whilst a larger version of the brands infinite triangle has been printed below with 'Chewy Cannon' text added.
Based in London, Palace was founded in 2009 by Lev Tanju and has developed significantly in just ten years. Known for a tongue-in-cheek attitude, bold custom graphics and lo-fi video style, each season Palace release a fresh selection of apparel, accessories and skate decks which are adorned with experimental artwork that continually sets the brand apart from others.
