Oakley Radar EV Path Tour de France 2019 Edition Sunglasses

Offering a greater level of sun-protection than before, the Oakley Radar EV Path Tour de France Sunglasses (2019 Edition) updates the classic silhouette with a wider and taller lens to extend the range of view in the upper or peripheral regions. The O-Matter frame features an enhanced level of durability, without impeding on comfort thanks to Unobtanium® components that increase grip with perspiration. The performance lenses have arrived in a prizm road colourway that use an indigo base colour, which allow for 20% light transmission while maintaining 100% UV protection against several types of damaging rays at up to 400 metres. The glasses have been inspired by the 100th anniversary of the first yellow jersey to be given out at the Tour De France, with a yellow frame detailed with black.

Oakley was founded in 1975 by James Jannard, who began selling motocross grips out of his garage in California - naming the brand after one of his dogs. It wasn’t until 1984 that the brand began to develop into the eyewear industry, initially with motocross orientated designs that were superior to the ones in existence at the time. This is something that the brand has sustained, creating some of the best performance eyewear to have ever existed. It’s because of this that it’s favoured by some of the world's leading athletes.
