Gramicci Corduroy Gramicci Pants in Olive. Presented in an olive colourway with all of the core details you could expect from a staple Gramicci trouser style, this corduroy edition has been constructed from a durable cotton polyurethane blend which gives the relaxed fit extra strength with retro undertones. Inspired by original Gramicci climbing trouser designs, the gusseted crotch insert allows for extra movement and works in harmony with the elasticated waistband which is adjustable through the integrated webbing belt, complete with subtle Gramicci branding on its edge. A centralised fly zipper detail has been positioned below and for storing essential items two side pockets can be found on the front, in addition to two welt pockets with velcro closures on either side of the reverse. Adding further branding without taking away from the versatility of the design, a narrow rectangular branded label can be seen on the right side. Encouraging wear for a variety of activities the legs have straight cut hems so you can tuck and roll the fabric to suit.
Favoured for its natural durability and underlying retro appeal, corduroy continues to be the fabric of choice for many brands who focus on creating contemporary outdoor clothing styles that are fit for purpose. Founded by Californian climber Mike Graham in 1982, Gramicci changed the face of the climbing industry forever by creating functional apparel designs equipped with extra panelling at key places to allow for movement, in addition to easily adjustable belts that could be resized whilst climbing to reduce interruption.
