Champion Vertical Stripe Hoodie

Continuing to portray Champion’s experimental block colour aesthetic for spring, this Vertical Stripe Hoodie is made from white 100% cotton and has an all over repeat multi vertical stripe screen printed design. The hood has a white outer with embroidered ‘Champion’ text branding on the top of the head in green, whilst the stripe print continues across the lining. The fit of the hood can be adjusted using two plaited cotton pull cords. To allow for a range of movement whilst adding a distinctive feature to the design, wide white ribbed panels have been inserted either side of the body which matches the trims on the sleeves and waist, which have both been cut slightly wider than a conventional design. A small embroidered ‘C’ emblem has been added onto the left wrist; a signature detail of the brand.

Having started their story through designing college sportswear and athletic apparel for the U.S Military Academy, Champion’s latest spring 19 collection presents vibrant colour experiments across staple leisurewear silhouettes, resulting in a look a little different from the usual. Not ones to rest on their established reputation, recent collaborations with the likes of Wood Wood have introduced the iconic brand to a new audience with a fresh, contemporary character.
