Made from 100% cotton, this Rave T-Shirt from Canal NY features a pink tone graphic on the front which includes a checkerboard pattern with a large cartoon face layered on top. Inspired by ‘90s event posters, the two tone design includes bold ‘Canal’ text with outlined ‘’91’ text alongside. Additional lettering highlights influences behind the artwork with ‘Bank Holiday Rave’ below and ‘Biggest Party In The North’ rotated to flow down the right side. For comfort, the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim and the sleeves and body have straight cut finishes.
Based in NYC, Canal was established by a team of friends who met whilst skating during highschool and have gone on to release their first full-length documentary at the end of 2018. Inspired by the counterfeit hubs of New York, their graphics are simple and give a strong nod to luxury fashion houses through bold text orientated artwork across relaxed, leisurewear silhouettes.
