Adidas Samba Decon 'Jason Dill' Shoes

(£65.00 GBP)

Snake, Core Black, Gold Metallic

Designed in collaboration with OG skater Jason Dill, these adidas Rider Series Samba Decon 'Jason Dill' Shoes arrive at Flatspot as the next monthly installment to adidas’s exclusive drop. Crafted with an Italian leather, snakeskin printed upper and a full leather liner, these unique sneakers remain true to Samba heritage. Combining both skate-style and contemporary fashion through a single profile, these shoes have a sleek silhouette and harbour a unique aesthetic that nods towards Dill’s penchant for luxury loafers. For performance-focus styling, the molded adi-prene sockliner, as well as the lowered heel height and black leather collar assist in providing all-round support, whilst the semi-translucent rubber outsole, complete with skate-specific distinguished pivot-point detailing underfoot, assists in supplying grip and traction during either leisure or skatewear. Understated cut-through eyelets encase the tongue and are paired with flat black cotton laces to supply a colour-complementing finish that stays loyal to the overall styling. To commemorate this iconic collaboration, the snake-skinned tongue displays a metallic gold ‘Dill’ signature while the cushioned insole has been re-invented in a colour matched black and gold colourway to showcase ‘adidas’ branding as well as an iconic golden trefoil logo.

Releasing a stylish silhouette for SS20, this shoe marks Dill’s installment to the Rider Series. The adidas Rider Series is an exclusive range of footwear that not only celebrates the talent of skateboarders but delivers customised takes on the most legendary silhouettes. Whilst the year has only just begun, the future is looking promising having previously seen wicked collaborations from the likes of Blondey McCoy, Na-Kel Smith, Diego Najera and Miles Silvas.

Recognising that the task of sustainability represents ‘a marathon, not a sprint’, adidas continues to adjust its supply management, environmental footprint and community programmes to suit. A founding member of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) since 2004, adidas continues to drive the notion of positive change across the sportswear industry. Since 2013, adidas continues to produce more than ‘11 million pairs of shoes’ utilising recycled plastic waste from coastal regions, whilst the use of bio-fabricated materials, sustainable cotton and Dry Dye fabrics take centre stage across all apparel.
