Seen here in a militant shade of legacy-green with feather-grey accents, this new-season Quilted Jacket from adidas is designed to provide optimum coverage and insulatory comfort when paired with any active lifestyle. With a 100% polyamide ripstop shell and PrimaLoft Black insulation, this lightweight long sleeve jacket is styled with cuffed sleeves, a shape-retaining elasticated hemline and a 5-popper placket fastening that flows through the centre of the upper-chest from its raised-collar origin. Reinforced stitching throughout emphasises its all-over quilted appearance, whilst two well-concealed side seam hand warmer pockets provide the wearer with additional storage solutions to suit. In honour of the brand’s reputable sportswear heritage, a printed brushed-grey trefoil decal is displayed above the opening of the left-side pocket.
Having collaborated with the likes of Magenta Skateboards, Fucking Awesome and Helas over the past few years, adidas and its skate-specific subdivision continue to put contemporary apparel back on the map. Launched in 1948 by cobbler turned sporting enthusiast Adolf ‘Adi’ Dassler, adidas has become a household brand loved for its performance-focused aesthetic and subtle ode to both the ‘80s and ‘90s.
