Vans TNT Advanced Prototype Shoes

Seen here in a rich port royale and rosewood colourway, these Vans TNT Advanced Prototype Shoes have been constructed with durable suede uppers, mesh inserts and strong overlays to deliver a hard wearing finish across a classic aesthetic. Designed in collaboration with legendary pro skater Tony Trujillo and constructed using a Pro Vulc Lite technique to ensure the best in boardfeel, flex and traction, this edition features contrast white top stitching around the toe vamp which continues around key details including the edge of the lace up fastening and around the back of the heel. Around the front of the toes a printed rubber overlay has been added to increase durability in this key area and above the tongue has a mesh top layer and a woven label showing stylised ‘Vans x Tony Trujillo’ branding. On either side of the foot signature side stripes have been added in leather on the outer panel and as a white mesh cut out on the other. The ankle collar is padded for comfort and inside the sockliner features UltraCush technology which offers a combination of a lightweight and responsive feel with molded heel cups. In high abrasion areas DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays have also been added.

Residing in San Francisco, Tony Trujillo was awarded Thrasher’s Skater of The Year back in 2002 and is still going strong with his legendary street and transition style. Launched through his long standing partnership with Vans, this new Vans TNT Advanced Prototype model has been built with a focus on adding strength to areas that wear the quickest, in addition to a ventilated side stripe and a double waffle tread to keep the shoes in action for longer.
