Vans Skate Half Cab Shoes No Comply x Daniel Johnston in White and Multi. Part of the brand’s Skate Classics collection and designed in partnership with No Comply skate shop in honour of artist Daniel Johnston, this creative interpretation of the Vans Skate Half Cab is styled with exclusive artwork from Johnston throughout. Featuring suede and canvas uppers with reinforced DURACAP underlays, POPCUSH insoles and a moulded heel counter, this mid collar skate shoe also features a bright white rubber outsole styled with illustrative ‘No-Comply’ branding and artistic details drawn underfoot. Transparent Waffle soles are complemented by wrap around forefoot fixings, whilst the recessed six eyelet lacing system secures the locked-in tongue in place. Finished with classic ‘Half Cab’ lateral quarter patches, woven tongue tabs, custom insoles and with Vans’ all-new ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs.
Celebrating 15 years of the Austin based brand alongside the Half Cab’s own 30th anniversary, the Vans Skate Half Cab No Comply x Daniel Johnston is an artistic silhouette that pays creative homage to the legacy of artist Daniel Johnston. Designed in partnership with the ‘Hi, How Are You Project’ and supported by a goal of encouraging open conversations around the topic of mental health.
