Vans and Ray Barbee are back with two new exclusive shoes that draw inspiration from heritage styles and the earlier days of skateboarding where Barbee first made his mark. The Vans Old Skool Pro (Ray Barbee) Shoes are seen here in the OG Burgundy colourway, with strong pops of blue and fresh white top stitching they’re a stand out style for any season. The durable suede outers provide a premium finish, whilst Duracap reinforcements in high wear areas mean this style is going to see you through some hard wear. The lining features padded collars and a unique two tone elephant print lining throughout, teamed with UltraCush HD cushioning, this style not only looks good but also performs. Varying to the other style in the latest collaboration, the outer aesthetic of this pair is kept fuss free, custom blue elements have been subtly added like the bright waffle sole and unique Vans blue rubber heel tab. Matching the neat top stitching, white laces and eyelets finish the shoe.
Ray Barbee is a true innovator when it comes to skate style, known for his unique and smooth movements, it’s no wonder he was given the Legend Award in 2017 by Transworld Magazine. Another instalment from a collaboration with skate legend Ray Barbee, Vans have released two new exclusive styles. The latest offering includes a custom repeat print elephant lining design that pays respect to life long friend of Barbee, Salman Agah. Vans never fail to successfully combine style with performance, their innovative skater inspired technology is featured including UltraCush HD lining to help support impact and high wear areas have been given additional Duracap reinforcements.
