Vans Authentic Pro Shoes

Topping up SS19 with some fresh colourways of classic silhouettes, the Vans Authentic Pro Shoes come in a rad grape leaf / laurel oak colourway. Crafted with a canvas upper and suede toe piece, the Authentic Pro is a classic style which has been upgraded for enhanced skateboarding functionality. This includes the addition of DURACAP reinforcement rubber underlays in those areas more prone to wear, an UltraCush HD sockliner which works to keep your foot closer to the board without sacrificing impact protection and finished with the Vans original waffle outsole for unrivalled grip. Ensuring boardfeel, flex and traction, there is Pro Vulc Lite construction which in turn offers a comfortable fit throughout. Aesthetically, changes have been minimal on this Pro iteration, with a contrasting stripe back panel in place and a red Off The Wall heel tab displaying a embossed ‘Pro’ logo.

In 1966 brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren opened the Van Doren Rubber Company, creating their first shoe which was originally named the #44. Later adopting the title Vans Authentic, the shoe has grown to become a worldwide success and undeniably one of the most instantly recognisable silhouettes.
