Safety Orange
A vibrant addition to the Thrasher apparel range for spring/summer 19, this safety orange edition of the Tiki T-Shirt is made from a blend of cotton and polyester which offers a comfortable and lightweight finish, ideal for layering throughout the year. Printed centrally onto the chest, an illustrated design shows a rework of the classic Thrasher logo themed around Tiki culture, with tropical foliage in the background, the ‘a’ has been replaced by a cocktail and ‘magazine’ lettering is below with flames at either end. A ribbed trim adds flexibility around the curved neckline, whilst the sleeves and waist have narrow straight hems.
Founded by Kevin Thatcher, Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello in 1981, Thrasher remains a prominent voice across the global skate scene through a selection of articles, interviews and photographs that accurately portray the culture. 2019 saw the passing of Jake Phelps, the magazine’s iconic editor in chief whose genuine raw attitude helped shape the voice and look of Thrasher today.
