Seen here in a width of 8.25”, this high concave Maaate Deck from The National Skateboard Co arrives as a part of a capsule collection created in memory of much loved skater Ben Raemers, with all proceeds being donated to the Ben Raemers Foundation in support of raising both mental health and suicide awareness. Made from 100% 7-ply maple and styled with a deepened curve for a steeper concave, this versatile and hard-wearing deck is signed off with a photo illustrative print across the underside that depicts a flower clutching hand with signature ‘Maaate’ inner finger tattooed detailing.
Founded in 2012 and releasing their first full-length short form in 2016, London based The National Skateboard Company is a humble and energised skatewear brand known for their no-nonsense aesthetic and their appreciation for custom graphics. Home to the likes of Tom Tanner, Joshua Young and Denis Lynn, The National Skateboard Co taps into a distinctly European vibe that is often overshadowed by the current market.
