The perfect additional layer for SS19, the Stan Ray Prison Shirt is constructed from 100% cotton and is effective as both a midlayer under a waterproof shell or as an outer layer. It features set-in sleeves and a stitched hem which offers a regular fit. It features an all over vertical striped pattern in alternating blue and bleached hickory, additionally it is finished with two vertical pockets on the chest which flank a full length button fastening. Finally sitting on the left chest pocket, there is the classic Stan Ray logo woven in black and yellow.
Named after the founders youngest son, Stan Ray was established in 1972 with just a handful of sewing machines. It began to create a variety of high quality workwear trousers that took inspiration from Japan’s vintage markets which were filled with fatigues and military wear, creating a simple aesthetic with goods that are guaranteed to last. This collection has been designed under Miles Johnson, Patagonia’s creative director who has since added touches of diversity to Stan Ray’s classic look.
