Soulland Mapp Zipped Jaquard Jacket

Designed in Copenhagen and made in Portugal, this Mapp Zipped Jacquard Jacket from Soulland is made from a high quality multi jacquard fabric woven from a blend of polyester, cotton, acrylic and other fibres. Coloured in tones of red and green against a navy background, an all over print incorporates poppies and stalks for a stand out look. The front is fastened by a full length two way black zip with a nylon fabric pull which leads to a neat pointed collar neckline. On either side of the waist two open entrance pockets have been added for storage of essentials and the internal pocket bags have bound edges for a neat finish. The long sleeves have short wrist plackets and silver snap button cuffs which allows the fabric to be rolled to suit.

Entitled ‘Opportunist’ the autumn/winter ‘19 collection from Copenhagen based Soulland draws inspiration from Ingmar Bergman’s movie The Seventh Seal. With a focus on portraying the light-hearted darkness that is reflected throughout the film, an array of print focused fabrics have been selected to bring a fresh character to everyday silhouettes, alongside the use of fabrics from previous seasons for an upcycled shirt.
