Measuring to 8.25" in width this Subject Matter Santiago Deck from Malm based Poetic Collective is made from 7-ply Canadian maple and features a printed underside design selected by team rider Santiago Sasson. Positioned between the two truck hole sets a rectangular image shows a bunch of bananas half buried in sand with capitalised 'Sasson' and 'Poetic Collective' lettering in grey underneath, either side of the brands abstract logo design. The topside has a full colour stain and an etched '7-ply Canadian maple' design sits in between the top set of truck holes.
Winter '19 marks the first pro deck series from Poetic Collective and welcomes Simon Kallvist, Santiago Sasson and Sarah Meurle into the professional ranks. Entitled 'Subject Matter' the series is dedicated to each skater who has selected a subject of their choice whether this is a favourite skate spot or photograph. Sasson has chosen an image of bananas from his photographer friend Felix Schaper.
