Following from the recent ‘Rawdacious’ and ‘Pollen’ Bruin React and Shane release, team rider Nyjah Huston receives his own colourful revision of the iconic Nike SB Nyjah Free 2. Part of a collection that honours skateboarding’s big competition debut, this striking golden pollen silhouette combines creativity with performative function to offer a contemporary twist across Huston’s infamous 360-degree rubber profile. Low collared and styled with resilient rubber and mesh underlaid uppers, the Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 features a washed pink high-flex rubber outsole, whilst an integrated cushioned foam sockliner and a comforting ¾ length inner sleeve combine for a sock-like fit to suit any challenging terrain. A grippy underfoot tread makes light work of taxing surfaces without hesitation, whilst the profile’s streamlined and smooth appeal is one that speaks volumes for the design’s modernised vibe. An advanced ghillie loop lacing system secures the ‘Nyjah’ branded tongue tabs across the contoured tongue and arch of the foot, whilst the cushioned ankle collar features a bright pink ‘II’ embroidered heel tab for additional quick and easy styling. Black etched style Swooshes adorn each side wall, with mini Swoosh intricacies displayed across the toe bumper, whilst neon pink ‘2021’ printed insoles pair well with the midfoot structuring to bring added contemporary colour to this commemorative redesign.
Inspired by the Nike Spiridon with its resilient rubber design and its undoubted techwear advancements, team rider and USA skate team associate Nyjah Huston’s latest Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 release is one that celebrates creativity in line with skateboarding’s pioneering big competition success.
