Reminiscent of the recently dropped Supreme edition, the Nike SB Gato Shoes have arrived in a daring university red colourway. Using a combination of leather and textile for the upper, the style uses white detailing on the tongue and heel - through a Nike spellout - to cut through the vivid upper. The lateral sides are adorned with a crisp white leather swoosh and small branded flag label and the midsole uses a combination of white and gum brown to harmonise the colours on the upper.
The shoe not only delivers in style but function too, a suede trim around the toe box provides improved longevity in a high-stress area while quilting just above prevents stretch through wear. Finally a Cushlon foam sockliner provides all-day comfort for off the board, while impact cushioning on the board is maintained. Historically skateboarding and football have had countless stylistic collaborations, with the Gato combining two sports in history.
