Designed with a low-profile with ‘70s running shoe influences, this new edition of the New Balance Numeric 440 model features uppers made from dual layers of suede in high abrasion areas combined with breathable mesh side panels for an appealing, contemporary aesthetic. Around the back of the heel a cut out layer adds further decoration with a reflective underlayer for safe night time sessions and subtle perforation can be seen on the toe vamp for ventilation. The lace fastening helps to keep the foot in place when active and the tongue is lightly padded for further comfort, with a woven label around its top edge that presents signature New Balance branding. On either side of the heel ‘N’ emblems add a signature touch and around the back of the heel ‘New Balance Numeric’ lettering can also be found. Throughout the inside of the shoe a soft fabric lining runs alongside a padded insole and a hidden C-CAP heel wedge provides heel support during high impacts. Completing the design and providing reliable traction, the rubber outsole features a detailed tread pattern.
