Lakai Salford Shoes
Salford is a neighbouring town to Manchester, which accurately describes the roots of the Salford shoe from Lakai. Salford is also the hometown of Danny Brady's father and Brady had a lot to do with the design of this shoe.
Featuring a lengthened toe, which is less rounded as a result, the Salford also has a modified collar to distinguish it from the original Manchester silhouette. The toe has stitched details reminiscent of classic football shoes and the drop-in insole gives more nostalgia with a printed VHS design.
The black suede upper has a leather moustache and tongue, plus the Lakai logo embroidered on the side panel. A classic white vulcanised sole brings it all together for an excellent limited release.
