Folk Soft Collar Shirt

Made from a lightweight blend of tencel and cotton, this navy Folk Soft Collar Shirt features custom charm embroidery on the front and reverse, designed in collaboration with Bristol based artists the Goss Brothers. Cut to a 50’s style shirt block with a boxy fit, a split vent at the side seam and long sleeves, the front is fastened by colour matched snap buttons which lead to the fold down collar neckline and on the left side of the chest a small patch pocket has been added. The pocket provides a backdrop for an embroidered scene featuring a tree which has been stitched using white thread for a stand out effect and on the reverse larger artwork has been applied in the same way across the shoulders. The sleeves have short placket cuffs and snap button fastenings which allow the fabric to be rolled to suit.

As the second capsule range designed in collaboration with Bristol based artists the Goss Brothers, this jacket is a new arrival for autumn/winter ‘19 and presents a take on the ancient story of Orpheus and Eurydice which the brothers have incorporated with influences from the Elephant and Castle shopping centre in London. Folk are a London based company which was founded in 2002 by Cathal Mcateer who had a vision to create quietly sophisticated apparel and accessories.
