Folk Plinth Jacket in Black and Brick. A fresh take on a classic plaid jacket, Folk have added their own touch to this regular fitting essential with an enlarged print coloured in tones of black and brick. The front is fastened by Corzo nut buttons which have been coloured differently to suit the background fabric and lead to the neat collar neckline which has a metal snap and stud fastening that matches detailing at the hem and cuffs. Patch pockets have been added at the front lower body and a smaller compartment positioned to match the background fabric sits on the left side of the chest, all of which have loose bottom edges for additional character. For additional warmth and comfort the front body panels have been lined in cotton poplin and an internal patch pocket can also be found with a single button closure for hiding valuables. Allowing you to cinch in the fit to suit, a cotton drawcord adjuster has been inserted within the edge of the body hem.
This season Folk has created a new selection of designs that utilise a combination of textural, high quality fabrics in rich earth-inspired tones which will keep you warm during the colder months in style. Renowned for a quietly elegant aesthetic with a British spin, Folk was founded in 2002 by Cathal Mcateer who had grown tired of the heavily branded clothing on the market at the time and set out to create an answer for those seeking sophisticated, well-made everyday pieces. Offering style without drama, Folk consciously source their fabrics and collaborate with experts to ensure the best in quality and finish.
