Introduced as part of the official Droors reboot for autumn/winter ‘19, the Saxon Rugby Shirt is made from a blend of cotton, polyester and elastane pique for warmth and comfort designed for everyday wear. The body and sleeves are coloured in peacoat whilst a bright yellow insert highlights the left sleeve which has been cut to a raglan shape to allow for a full range of movement. The front is fastened by three buttons on the centre of the chest, two of which are concealed by a fabric placket with stylised ‘Droors’ text embroidered in white underneath. On the left sleeve a circular rubber emblem shows additional Droors branding and has been colour matched to suit the fabric insert. The collar neckline adds a refined touch and stands out from the rest of the design having been cut from white cotton. Short side slits have been added on either side of the body to allow for movement and wide elasticated cuffs wrap around the edge of the sleeves to help keep the fit secure whilst on the move.
Founded in 1992 by Damon Way and Ken Block, Droors was first launched as a skate focused denim brand before progressing into a full clothing label and becoming DC Shoes. Known for offering oversized styles that essentially defined the iconic style of skateboarding from the ‘90s, Droors Clothing has returned for 2019 with a range of casual everyday styles that incorporate original graphics that will bring a rich sense of nostalgia to anyone who remembers the brand from the first time around.
