Converse One Star Pro Suede Ox Shoes in Desert Sand, Treeline and White. Seen here in a neutral colourway inspired by the archives, the Converse One Star Pro Suede Ox is a low collar skate shoe enhanced to deliver increased boardeel, flexibility and traction. Featuring soft rubber-backed suede uppers with contrasting tree green flat laces and tonal exposed stitching, this revised courtside favourite also features a moulded CX foam sockliner, a vulcanised midsole and a rubber CONS traction outsole. An auxetic toe bumper is paired with black rubber foxings, whilst the cut-out One Star sidewalls are also styled with perforated details. A recessed seven eyelet lacing system secures the printed ‘Converse CONS’ tongue in place, whilst custom ‘CONS’ insoles and rubberised heel scabs finish the design.
Crossing over into the skateboarding industry in 2009 and supported by recent edits such as ‘Seize the Seconds’, ‘Case Study’ and ‘Middle Earth’, Converse is a pioneering sportswear brand known for their Chuck Taylor and courtside heritage. Home to team riders such as Alexis Sablone, Louie Lopez and Sean Pablo and to collaborations with brands including Carhartt WIP, Stussy and Polar Skate Co.
