Customised by Sean Pablo himself, these navy Converse CTAS Pro Hi Sean Pablo Shoes have canvas uppers which are decorated by a selection of hand drawn illustrations that differ between the left and ride shoe and continue across the white rubber toe cap and PU sockliner. Imagery of religious symbols, cats, spider webs, skulls, expressive phrases and a single rose can be seen which surround a circular CTAS ankle patch and two silver metal eyelets on the inner side panel. Contrasting white top stitching edges the lace border and ankle collar whilst the tongue features additional illustrations with black laces on top that thread through silver metal eyelets. A soft fabric lining runs throughout the shoe alongside an Ortholite sockliner and within the heel a Nike Zoom Air unit has been added for impact protection. A single line of foxing tape wraps around the white vulcanised outsole and an additional panel has been applied across the toes for increased durability. An embossed white rubber Converse CONS heel stamp sits on the back of the heel and underfoot CONS traction rubber provides quality grip for wear across a variety of terrains. A set of white laces and a black and blue pair arrives with each pair.
Inspired by his dad who was a surfer, skater and part of the L.A punk scene, Sean Pablo grew up surrounded by the sounds of Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen which coincided with him discovering skateboarding and a personal journey into self expression. A fan of vintage clothing, music and art it’s no surprise that Pablo’s design for Converse stands out from the crowd and has been made to the skaters exact specifications. Having made his debut in Supreme’s ‘Cherry’ aged just 16, Pablo has since gained ongoing sponsorships with Supreme, Fucking Awesome and Converse.
