Carhartt x Motown T-Shirt

Featuring a collaborative logo design on the centre of the chest designed in celebration of 60 years of Motown Records, this black Carhartt x Motown T-Shirt is made from 100% cotton and has a curved neckline with short sleeves. Covering the majority of the chest and applied in prism violet coloured ink - an iconic colour of Motown - the graphic shows the labels stylised ‘M’ logo in large with ‘Carhartt’ text below. The reverse is plain and on the inner nape of the neck a woven label shows the same design again as a reference to it being a part of a special capsule range. A flexible ribbed trim wraps around the edge of the neckline for comfort and fit retention whilst the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems.

Part of a thirteen-piece capsule collection that has been released in celebration of this year being the 60th anniversary of Detroit based Motown records, this t-shirt sits alongside a selection of customised t-shirts, sweats and jackets that reference key artists, tracks and imagery from the iconic record labels history. Founded by Berry Gordy Jr in 1959 Motown is responsible for establishing musicians such as Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye and Steve Wonder and carries a distinctive sound that continues to inspire modern artists of current times.
