Seen here in a black colourway with prism violet graphics, this Carhartt x Motown Pocket T-Shirt is made from premium cotton and has been designed as part of a thirteen-piece capsule range that celebrates 60 years of Motown. The curved neckline has a wide flexible trim which supports comfort and fit retention during casual everyday wear and on the left side of the chest a shaped patch pocket has been added. Above the pocket stylised text reads ‘A Pocket Full of Miracles’ in reference to R&B group The Miracles and within the centre of the pocket a square woven label shows the famous Motown ‘M’ emblem logo above ‘Carhartt’ text to signify the collection. The reverse is plain and straight cut hems complete the body and short sleeves.
Presenting a take on the album cover of the 1970 album by The Miracles entitled ‘A Pocket Full of Miracles’ which shows an illustration of band members Smokey Robinson, Bobby Rogers, Pete Moore and Ronnie White sat within a pocket with curved text above, this t-shirt has been designed by Carhartt to pay homage to the Detroit record label Motown which was founded by Berry Gordy Jr in 1959.
