Carhartt x Motown Orderform T-Shirt

Seen here in black, this Carhartt x Motown Orderform T-Shirt is made from premium cotton and features front and back screen printed graphics that reference original vinyl records from the Motown record label and include individual stamper numbers for some of the best known tracks. On the left side of the chest the Motown ‘M’ emblem has been printed in silver above ‘Carhartt’ lettering with ‘C - 313. MR - 313’ text within narrow sections below. The design continues onto the reverse with a larger print showing bold stylised ‘New Releases! From Motown’ text above a selection of illustrated vinyl records with individual track names from the likes of The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, The Contours and Diana Ross and identification numbers underneath, all set within their own outline. Along the bottom of the design an order form style print shows space to fill in personal details with ‘Motown Record Corp.’ alongside. The curved neckline has a wide flexible ribbed trim for comfort and fit retention whilst the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems.

Designed as part of a thirteen-piece capsule range designed by Carhartt in celebration of 60 years of Motown, this t-shirt highlights some of the most celebrated artists to have recorded albums with the Detroit based label who collectively reshaped the sound of American pop music and diversified soundwaves across the world.
