Made from ultra-comfortable 100% cotton, the Carhartt Oakland Stripe T-Shirt utilises single jersey heavyweight fabric for a piece that suits round the year wear. A ribbed trim has been added to the curved neckline which helps retain the regular fit while layered underneath a jumper in the cooler months, although straight hems in the waist and sleeves offer generous room for a natural range of motion and improved breathability. Drawing inspiration from last years Houston pocket shirts; this season's edition has been yarn dyed with alternating stripes of black, white and yoda green. An embroidered chase logo decorates the left chest.
Designed for everyday wear, this new season addition is suitable for layering throughout the year thanks to its short sleeve silhouette and casual cut. This pairs perfectly with some straight cut black trousers or jeans to round off the utilitarian style that the brand has set out to modernise since the late eighties with the establishment of the Work In Progress subsidiary in 1989.
