Carhartt Chalk Jacket

Seen here in dark navy, Carhartt have updated their Chalk Jacket with a new 9oz 100% cotton ‘griffith’ twill fabric for the new season, resulting in a lightweight and bulk free finish that is perfect for warmer weather styling. Promoting a classic look, the body has a boxy fit with a convertible collar neckline. On the left side of the chest a curved edge patch pocket offers space for essentials and is adorned with a branded square label, below this, two larger patch pockets are also available. For durability and decoration, the pockets have contrasting white top stitching with bartacking at stress points.

Customised silver buttons complete both shaped wrist cuffs on the sleeves whilst also matching the front fastening. Across the top of the shoulders, around the armholes and along the sleeves white triple top stitching adds longevity to high wear areas. Allowing for movement, side slits have been inserted on either side of the body. Arriving as a spring/summer update on a classic Carhartt WIP style, this jacket takes inspiration from the brands iconic history within American workwear which is apparent through the silhouette and high quality construction, whilst seasonal fabric updates and decorative accents are incorporated with function in mind.
