The Carhartt Body & Paint Crewneck Sweatshirt is created from a poly, cotton blend in a loose fitting silhouette, with a heavyweight feel. Additionally it features elasticated cuffs and hems for fit retention, with a ribbed crewneck for a snug feel which keeps you comfortable. The sweatshirt features a red print on a black backdrop, the left chest features a red Carhartt C over a checkerboard design with the brands founding date underneath. The reverse shows a car under a ‘body & paint’ logo with detailing underneath, these graphics offer a bright contrast to the darker background.
Carhartt WIP was established, as shown in the crewneck, in 1989 after a hundred years of experience as a workwear company providing rugged and high quality goods. The subsidiary features simplistic styling which has been an unofficial uniform of global subcultures from its beginning. From skateboarding to hip hop it’s instantly recognised ‘C’ logo has been documented in iconic photography and cinematography which has established the brand’s name in history.
