Seen here in a navy colourway, these Horus Pants from Butter Goods are made from 100% cotton twill and have been cut to a relaxed fit. The waistband is elasticated with an internal bright yellow border and plaited cotton laces dyed to the same colour. Two generously sized waist pockets have been added either side with a false fly detail below. Giving this style a stand out look, a repeat print design of the eye of Horus has been applied using white ink visible across the front and back. The legs have straight finishes which allows the fabric to sit casually, whilst also being easy to roll to suit.
Referencing ancient Egyptian history, the eye of Horus is said to represent the six senses. Appearing alongside other reworked graphics such as the famous Peanut character Snoopy, artwork from Roy Ayers’ ‘Mystic Voyage’ album and the brands signature worldwide logo feature throughout the Q1 spring 19 release, all presented with a particular eye for colour and illustration.
