A versatile walkshort, the Brixton Madrid II Shorts are made for anything your summer might throw at them thanks to the 9-oz cotton cord fabric. The corduroy offers 14 wale per inch which guarantees durability through countless skate sessions, with added stretch to ensure that they move with you. The 19” inseam gives generous room for movement during any activity, while an elastic waistband with adjustable drawcord provides a secure fit - this is flanked by two vertical hand pockets at either side seam, while welt pockets decorate the rear. The shorts are finished in a sharp leaf green colourway , with minimal detailing being limited to custom Brixton labelling.
Brixton draws its inspiration traditionally from the rich Californian Surf and Skate community that surrounds founders David Stoddard, Jason Young and Mike Chaplin. However SS19 specifies on Jamaica's colourful and unique dancehall clubs, aiming to inspire the wearer to convey a similar style. The company’s modest roots as a vintage headwear company is clear through their subtle finishes using enzyme washes or garment dyes to provide a worn-in look.
