There's a reason that the Stefan Janoski Max L shoe in Black / White from Nike SB is one of the most popular and applauded releases of all time, and that is because of it's universal functionality and appeal. Whether you are skateboarding (and it can be skated), travelling, working or kicking back it might possible be the most comfortable or abusable trainer for all those things.
Durable suede upper and panel lay out means it resists abrasion and is strong, even the hyperscreened Nike Swoosh was conceived to do so and be so. It's stretchy integral bootee construction lends support, shielding and gives a supremely secure fit along with lacing. While possibly it's most defining feature still is it's specially designed hybrid sole unit. The sole's fore is a lightweight Nike SB Free, giving natural flex pattern and feel while giving spring and cushioning. At the same time it's 'pods' being cast with herringbone pattern tread for traction. The rear of the sole is the untouchable and unmistakable Nike AIR MAX unit, the visible bubble of which provides shock absorption and energy to the foot. Add in the fact that additional rubber inlays have been placed to resist wear in specifically vulnerable areas, and there's the possibility that the whole thing could not be improved upon.
