Stefan Janoski dressed in 'Blue Croc' for Nike SB

Perhaps the greatest thing about the classic Nike SB Stefan Janoski silhouette is that it is such an iconic shape you can do pretty much anything with it. Custom printed canvas, contrasting panels, there have been all sorts of Quickstrike editions and the latest to drop with us is the Leather “Blue Croc”. A premium navy Crocodile embossed leather wraps the entire upper (including the subtle overlaying tonal Swoosh) which sits on an ice white midsole, assisted by the usual inclusion of Zoom Air cushioning.

Release date is September 20th 00:01 Gmt

It's Great Outdoors; Raised By Wolves AW 14

We're okay about the Fall. Autumn is a great time of year, often slowly turning down the Summer temperatures a few notches without, touch woodland glade, too much wet weather. Opportunity to layer up with Jackets, Shirts, Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, all of which have been supplied in fine style in this monster collection from Canadians Raised By Wolves. We have waxed Millerain cotton Caps, Buckets and a Boonie, plus a really well stocked drop of knitted Watch Caps (the Geowulf Balaclava pictured below already proving really popular). Running across a couple of T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and Pullovers is an amazing print from UK based artist Arran Gregory, buffalos, beavers, grizzlies, alpine trees and even Davy Crockett wondering about.

Back in Black: Nike SB Trainerendor

A welcome return this week to Flatspot from a really unique hybrid trainer that was pretty much a 'blink and you'll miss it' release last year. Almost exactly 12 months back we had a micro drop of the Nike Trainerendor, part of the ACG line, and they sold out in hours leaving us with just the memory of a killer silhouette. We're therefore pretty excited to have taken stock of a new batch (in more ample supply) revamped with a few subtle differences. The ACG line is all about getting things done and the new Trainerendor is successfully both lightweight and pretty beastly, you can head out doing all sorts of stuff in the great outdoors without dragging round cumbersome footwear.

They have a water-resistant nubuck upper coupled with a scuff-resistant mudguard, heel and corresponding midfoot strap (the big Velcro® back to the future looking bit). The instep of the shoe features breathable diamond mesh construction with reflective detailing throughout. Those soles are pretty serious in White and speckled Phylon with BRS 1000 carbon rubber applications to the outsole to aid with traction. Few very subtle bits of branding, monochrome Swoosh to the side and Nike SB tongue embroidery (the previous edition was 'ACG' branded). The stitched-in pull-on heel strap looks like a tiny chessboard, which we like a lot. Lightweight but rugged, break down the boundaries.

10.Deep WXRLD WXDE WXVE collection

We're stoked to have 10.Deep's new autumn collection landing at Flatspot this week, a capsule titled "WXRLD WXDE WXVE". Above is a Zip Drive Mesh Football Jersey in Burgundy, we also snuck a shot of the Hibiscus Hoody up on the Flatspot twitter feed today. All eyes on the 10.Deep collection page this coming week.

Stüssy x Gasius capsule collection

Stüssy have collaborated with the UK-based artist Gasius as its co-creative on a special capsule collection taking us into the Autumn. The collection of original Russell Maurice (as Gasius is also known) illustration and typography is blended with classic Stüssy designs across a range of T-Shirts, Long Sleeves, Sweatshirts and Coaches Jackets. The Pizza theme is pretty funny, the little slice guy featuring across most of the collection. The Cat Long Sleeve is the most diverse with all the capsules icons in one place, it also channels the early Stussy graffiti vibe. Stussy put together an interview with Gasius that you can read here. When asked about his Pizza obsession he conceded that it's not the best food in the world, "No I think caramel slices are then Pizza second…". We figure the next collab will have a cake vibe running through it.

Penfield: Layering up for the Autumn

It's easy to get excited when even the packaging feels luxurious, we're stoked to load up this week on the Penfield Autumn 2014 collection.

This new drop is a celebration of Penfield's classic cuts, all rooted in the great out doors... specifically their great outdoors in Massachusetts USA. The collection is a “promise of durability, functionality and quality.” The material ratio has been tweaked from a classic 60/40 to 80/20 in the popular windproof Hoosac Parka and the Kasson jacket adds a layer of water protection with its bonded cotton for those chillier days. Another superb addition is the new Ottery Hooded Overshirt Black, an autumn weight jacket for before the weather gets ballistic.

It's all really decent gear. Shop the Penfield collection now.
