Nike SB Orange Label PT6 by Kevin Bradley: The Kevin & Hell Pack

Famed for his soulful skate style and his natural rhythm when it comes to street shredding, easy-going Kevin Bradley is no stranger to the skate game. Based out of lively Los Angeles and frequently dropping in across famed spots such as Hollywood and Venice Beach, Bradley’s pure-flow attitude is one that has cemented him into a number of high-voltage sponsorships over the past few years including those with Jason Dill and AVE’s rebooted brand Fucking Awesome, live-wire skate powerhouse label Supreme and his loyal allegiance with go-to personal favourite Nike SB. Alongside that, and still at the age of just 24, Bradley also co-owns the ‘Ride or Die’ company Hardies Hardware with childhood friend and fellow skateboarder Na-Kel Smith, proving just how influential his skate-style is and that many more monumental achievements are still in store for this notorious skater.

Having released both a red-soled Nike SB Zoom Dunk High Pro and a blue-soled Air Force 2 Low model back in 2018, and firmly securing the Nike Blazer as his go-to skate-shoe for any session, the exclusive Orange Label ‘Kevin & Hell Pack’ actively plays on the distinctive duality between paradise and perdition. Fuelled by this ethereal divide, Bradley welcomes a cloud-like rendition across his exclusive Nike SB Orange Label Blazer AC XT for a personal touch animated by his own love of the rain and that of his beloved grandma. Soft nubuck makes for butter-smooth boardfeel whilst its OG Zoom Air Unit, cushioned heel collar and cloud-decal sockliner helps personify it’s ‘walking on air’ aspirations. Loyal to its extra-tough ‘XT’ branding, reinforced toe panels help reduce the risk of abrasive wear whilst the triple velcro-fastened straps pay homage to Bradley’s laid-back and comfort-minded energy. The usual Swooshes are heightened with puffy-edge trimmings for a more vapor-vibed finish whilst neat rain-drop embroidery across the heel tabs and custom ‘Nike SB x Kevin Bradley’ across each stack-stitched padded tongue help elevate these atmospherically-inspired sneakers with all the praise they deserve.

For the contrasting ‘underworld’ pair, the Nike SB Orange Label Blazer Mid ‘Kevin Bradley’, the pro-skater seeks inspiration from his undying love of the Star Wars character Darth Maul to produce a two-toned sneaker rich with infernal undertones and devilish vibes. Premium soft-touch velvet construction fuses both the block-toned uppers with the jet-black rubberised outsole, whilst their fiery flamed insoles, well-cushioned high rise collar and the padded mesh tongue supply a red-hot aesthetic that nods towards Bradley’s more rebellious streak. Bold black swoop-back Swooshes decorate the textile side panels, whilst colour-matched laces, herringbone traction decals and the built-in Zoom Air Unit effectively transform these Blazers into skate-ready sneakers.

Joining the line-up in this exclusive Heaven vs. Hell drop, two exclusive summer-ready shirts offer plenty of street charm to the Nike SB Orange Label collection. With the loose-fitting ‘Kevin Bradley’ tee paying homage to his own canine crew with its neat embroidered companion and practical drop-patch pocket across the chest, and the ‘90s esque oracle aqua shirt boasting some tropical vibes with its collarless styling and pastel-striped finish, this latest Nike SB collaborative release actively showcases the very best of Cali-based Bradley.

Launched in early 2019, the Nike SB Orange Label collection is one dedicated to celebrating the talent and creative direction of contemporary skaters in line with its exclusive #supportyourlocalskateshop ethos. With memorable showcases such as the Nike SB Chronicles, Fucking Awesome’s ‘Industrial Light and Magic’ reel from 2019 and both the Supreme ‘Cherry’ and ‘Candyland’ skate-film clips with fellow skaters Sean Pablo, Rowan Zorilla, Mark Gonzales and Pablo Ramirez behind him, Kevin Bradley drops into the Orange Label initiative from a great height to join likes of skater-come-activist Leo Baker, American pro-skater Ishod Wair and fellow SB crew-member Oskar Rozenberg with their very own exclusive releases.

The Nike SB x Kevin Bradley Kevin & Hell Pack releases on Saturday 30th May 2020 at 8am (BST).
