adidas Skateboarding x Hardies Hardware Sabalo Shoes and Apparel

Offering their second collaborative collection, the four piece capsule from adidas x Hardies drops 11.04.19. Founded by FA pro’s Tyshawn Jones, Na-Kel Smith and Kevin Bradley, Hardies Hardware soon gained widespread recognition throughout the skate industry with the release of their video ‘What Will You Fight For’ and then later the Hardies ‘Can Jam NYC’ which was endorsed by Thrasher Magazine. With the brands name coming from an adaption of the classic rite of passage flinch punch game, the bolt logo adorns a clenched fist in respect of its origins. Following the success of Bill Strobeck’s masterpiece ‘Cherry’, Tyshawn rampaged to film a banging part in the adidas ‘Away Days’ video and then Supreme’s ‘Blessed’, which would go on to earn him the title of Thrasher’s SOTY. Crowning the cover of the Skater Of The Year issue with a hefty nollie heel bump to bar. Ready for spring, adidas Skateboarding hit up Tyshawn and the boys to produce a custom iteration of their new footwear silhouette - Sabalo, which has been stylised in a white / purple / core black colourway - with reference to the trusty fisheye lens, accompanied by a hoodie, work pants, jacket and jersey, with aesthetics accentuated with collegiate purple contrasts.

The three-stripe European sportswear giants subdivision, adidas Skateboarding has seen multiple collaborative series within the last few seasons. Establishing themselves within the global skate scene with a combination of rich heritage influence and innovative performance inspired designs. The implementation of raw skateboarding through brands like Hardies from the Bronx, NYC keeps things real.
