Nike SB x Crushed DC Dunk Low
Continuing Nike SB’s homage to independent skate stores and community influencers, the Nike SB x Crushed D.C. Dunk Low Pro arrives as a creative collaboration with Brian Aguilar’s U Street based skate shop. A homage to the legacy of D.C. skate stores and to Crushed D.C.’s community orientated narrative, this co-designed Nike Dunk follows on from similarly styled releases such as KCDC’s Dunk High Pro and Maryland based Carpet Company’s Dunk High Premium from 2021.

Founded in 2020 by skater Brian Aguilar, who coincidentally worked as an employee for both Art Under Pressure (AUP) and Bureau skate shop, before Crushed D.C. took over the same space, the store is located in the city’s historic U Street corridor. Rich with cultural history and coined the ‘Black Broadway’, the shop's location is one deeply rooted in music, film and African-American culture, with it also being known as the birthplace of celebrated jazz musician Duke Ellington. Now known for being the only skate shop to serve the Nation’s capital and the district’s growing skate community, Crushed is also known for its ties to the likes of Bobby Worrest and Kevin Augustine, with iconic D.C. skate spots such as Green Skate Lab and Freedom Plaza located nearby.
Styled with a speckled Nike Grind outsole in a colourway that matches the marbleized side Swooshes, the Nike SB x Crushed D.C. Dunk Low Pro arrives as the latest addition to the brand’s independent skate store collaborative collection. Featuring tumbled leather uppers with supple suede overlays, this low cut Dunk also features a perforated toe box, cushioned Zoom Air inserts and a classic circular underfoot tread. A full length cupsole stitch details the bright white midsole, whilst puffy and interchangeable laces secure the exposed mesh padded tongue in place. Orange accents detail the ‘Nike SB Crushed D.C.’ tongue, with a tonal padded lining providing added support. Finished with under-tongue ‘Crushed D.C.’ logo branding, photo-illustrative custom insoles and with embroidered ‘Nike’ branding stitched across each suede and leather heel.

Due to the limited numbers of the Nike SB x Crushed DC Dunk Low we are making the shoes available via our Releases.flatspot site on a Raffle to purchase basis.
The draw opens on Thursday 6th Cotober at 12:00PM (BST) and closes on Friday 7th October 2022 at 10:00AM (BST). You can enter the draw here.
Limited to one pair per person. Available to UK residents only.
Winners will be chosen on Saturday 8th October 2022 at 08:00AM (BST) and we will aim to confirm both successful and unsuccessful entries within three hours. Winning pairs will start shipping Monday 10th October 2022.
For each release we will invite those interested to enter a draw to purchase prior to the products actual designated time of release. Card payment will be required to register for each draw and your payment will be authorised but the funds not taken by us unless your name is successfully drawn at the designated time and date of the actual release.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw the pre-authorisation will be voided and your funds released, it may take up to five working days before you see your funds available in your account again.
