Seen here in a rainy day navy colourway with crisp white accents and a gum rubber outsole, these Vans Sk8-Hi Pro Shoes have suede and canvas uppers across a hi-top silhouette with padding around the ankle. Across the toe vamp, laces border and back of the heel navy coloured suede strengthens key impact areas whilst a white leather side stripe sits on either side against lighter blue canvas for distinctive branding. A small woven Vans flag label sits below on the right side. White cotton laces have been selected for the fastening and sit on top of a suede tongue which has a woven label wrapped around its top edge showing Vans logo branding in tones of blue. Throughout the inside a fabric lining has been added for comfort alongside an UltraCush HD sockliner and Duracap toe bumper which both offer protection against impact support. A single black foxing tape line wraps around the gum rubber outsole and the famous Vans waffle tread pattern completes the design across the underneath for high quality traction.
Founded in 1966 by brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren, Vans have a rich history within skate footwear and have continued their legacy for classic, hard wearing footwear styles that have a distinctly old school vibe whilst being enhanced by modern performance features such as WaffleControl engineering, Duracap protection and UltraCush HD sockliners. Continually put to the test by their international skate team that includes the likes of Elijah Berle, Geoff Rowley and Anthony Van Engelen, Vans offer ultimate classics within footwear and have been adopted by skaters on and off their boards.
