Stussy Basic Stussy T-Shirt

Appearing within each collection as a staple graphic style, this Basic Stussy T-Shirt is made from soft and lightweight cotton and features screen printed artwork on the front and reverse. Dyed to a rich wine colourway as part of the holiday ‘19 capsule, the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim which supports comfort and fit retention whilst the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems which supports this style being suitable for layering throughout the year. On the left side of the chest the brands signature text logo has been printed in white for a stand out effect and can be seen again in large across the shoulders on the reverse.

In 1979 Shawn Stussy began shaping and selling his own surfboard designed in Laguna Beach, CA. Through his passion for punk rock music and an outdoor, free spirited lifestyle, he began selling promotional t-shirts bearing the now famous signature Stussy logo. From here the brand changed the face of international streetwear through custom artwork and reworked luxury fashion emblems which combined social groups ranging from hip-hop to skateboarding.
