Pop Trading Company Pigeon Shirt

Featuring digital printed artwork created by Rop van Mierlo especially for Pop Trading Company, this Pigeon Shirt is a new style for AW20 and offers a fresh take on a classic formal style that can be worn for a variation of occasions. A crisp white cotton has been selected for the style and perfectly enhances the all over print which is coloured in tones of red, brown, green and pink and shows stylised watercolour illustrations of pigeons. The font is fastened by small circular buttons which lead to the neat collar neckline and on the left side of the chest a shaped patch pocket offers space to carry small essential items. The hem of the body is curved for a flattering finish and the long sleeves have single button cuffs that allow you to roll the fabric to suit.

Based in Amsterdam, Rop van Mierlo is known for his wet-on-wet paintings which commonly depict fuzzy-shaped animals achieved using a painting technique and different colour tones.
